The mission of Care for Polish Orphans, Inc. is to celebrate Polish heritage by helping improve the quality of life and well-being of orphans living in Poland and make life easier for their caretakers too.
We are a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization based on Amelia Island in Florida. Donations are put to direct use to purchase medical supplies, exercise equipment, wheelchairs, and other items the orphanages need to care for the children.
Our all-volunteer board with members in both the U.S. and Poland are dedicated to offering assistance in the form of goods and services directly to those in need. We do not give cash, but personally coordinate and oversee the purchase and delivery of all donations. Administrative expenses are kept at 2% or less of donations to ensure that as much as possible goes to help the children.
We share Ghandi's belief ... we must all be the change we want to see in the world.
